34. If there was any star they could afford to lose, it was D Mo. Gibbs is no longer just a speed back like he was last season. He’s really developed as a versatile all around back this year, capable of running smash mouth through the tackles with the best of them.

38. 10-15 more touches per game for Gibbs sure seems like a too-little-too-late and macabre karmic reward from the football gods to the Lions for all the very real pain and suffering. But make no mistake about it – the final form of the Lions offense always featured Jah anyway. He's the truth, a rare, special game-breaking talent with no weaknesses, and he gives Detroit's offense the best chance to score the most points when he's in at RB.
