    Backlund will be 35 when the Wild enter there truly competitive years and we traded away prospects for it. What kind of dolt imagines these up?

  4. Hanifin (4.95M) and Backlund (5.35M) at 50% retained will be 5.15M combined cap hit.

    Middleton is at 2.45

    Wild have 1.64 cap space still needing to sign Addison

    So, this is calling for the Wild to give up two 1st (Ohgren and the 2024) a 3rd, and Mids for a 35 year old center on an expiring contract and a defenseman on an expiring contract. And then would need to find a way to shed an additional 2+ million in salary.

    The fuck outta here with this bullshit
