Via zoom unfortunately, but he was great! We got into how he got started with broadcasting, how he made the move from the Chicago White Sox organization to the then Devil Rays in ’05…just in time for the Sox to win the World Series, and about the difficulty of calling games remotely via monitors during the pandemic. He was a blast and I’m so thankful he took the time to speak with me. We also spent a large portion of our time together recalling the ’08 season and all of the magic that unfolded.
