If the Packers win out and the Lions win out up to us we currently have the Strength of Victory Tiebreaker over them. Unfortunately we can lose this depending on how other games go around the NFL. Strength of Victory is the Combined win percentage of teams you’ve beaten, so the only way for the Packers or Lions to improve their SoV relative to the other is to have teams they’ve beaten that the other team hasn’t win games.
The Packers and the Lions both have 5 teams they’ve beaten that the other hasn’t:
Packers Sov Teams: Buccaneers, Patriots, Cowboys, Rams, and Dolphins
Lions Sov Teams: Giants, Commanders, Jaguars, Jets, and Panthers
I messed around in the ESPN Playoff Machine a while and found if the Lions SoV teams wins 3 more games than ours they’ll tie SoV and win on Strength of Schedule. Having messed around with the games and according to 538’s NFL predictions if the Packers and Lions tie at 9-8 we have a 55% chance at playoffs to their 8% I’d say our tiebreaker in this already unlikely scenario is pretty safe.

TL;DR if Packers and Lions Tie at 9-8 we take the tiebreaker unless the Teams the Lions have beaten can win 3 more games than the Teams we’ve beaten.
