We’ve split into an alternate universe

Killian is starting to look like the player we thought he would be. When you think about it, he was drafted at the age of a fresh high school graduate. He’s younger than Evan Mobley and Jalen Suggs for reference. There was no training camp and he was immediately thrown into the fire of nba action. He missed majority of what was already a chaotic season due to injury. He then got 5 summer league games to try and figure stuff out.

Year two was more of his real rookie year. Still very poor and he never got any rhythm. This year, he got a full training camp, he got good summer league reps, and was solid in preseason. He had a historically awful first month of the regular season but has since started to look consistently competent as an nba player. Since about mid November, this is the first time we’ve seen Killian have more good games than bad ones. Future isn’t look so bleak now. There’s still potential for something to happen. He’s only 21
