Hi all!
I’ve noticed the occasional question from first timers and visiting fans about attending a game the Mullett. I didn’t see a guide or tip thread so I figured I’d start one. I’ve been to a number of home games so far this season, and here are my pro tips. Please share yours in the comments!
Tickets
* If you have an “@asu.edu” or “@gcu.edu” email, you can make a Ticketmaster account with that email and sign up for [Coyotes U](https://www.nhl.com/coyotes/tickets/coyotes-u), where they’ll release $25 student tickets for some games. It says you have to be a full time student, but as long as you have the email, AFAIK they don’t check (YMMV).
Parking
* There are a number of nearby [ASU parking garages](https://cfo.asu.edu/daily-and-hourly) that are $16 (vs. $30 for Mullett Arena parking). The closest is probably [Tyler St.](https://goo.gl/maps/uNhgzHcQZ19D2BhM6) (10 minute walk to the arena), but the Rural Rd. or Apache Blvd. ones are also close.

Food/Drinks Near the Arena
* [Board and Brew](https://boardandbrew.com/locations/tempe-arizona/) on Rural Rd. – Has sandwiches and $3-4 microbrew pints on tap.
* [Devil’s Advocate](https://devilsaz.com/) on University Dr. – Sports bar with decently priced bar food and beer/drinks.
* [Buffalo Wild Wings](https://www.buffalowildwings.com/locations/us/az/tempe/705-s-rural-rd/sports-bar-241/) on Rural Rd.
Misc. Arena
* [Know Before You Go](https://www.mullettarena.com/know-before-you-go/) (Bag Policy, Accepted Payment, Door Times, Prohibited Items, etc.)
* Attendees can bring one (1) unopened bottle of water. I always bring a 1L bottle, myself.
* It’s a small arena and the music can get LOUD. Bring ear plugs if this might bother you (I do).
