Hi all,
Philly Eagles fan here. For 49ers fans in Philly, I’m happy to answer questions about venues, provide advice for the game (if you’re going), or just give restaurant recommendations. Whatever. Here to help so you guys have a good time in our city! I’ve seen nothing but respect from both fanbases for the opposing franchise – let’s continue that!
It’s gonna be a great game. Go Birds, and fuck the Cowboys! š
Edit: Gameday information update from the Eagles site:

I’m in NJ, about 15mins from Philly, but if you want to try a cheesesteak I would say Dalessandro’s is the spot. It’s definitely a subjective take, but I’ve eaten at most of the popular spots and Dalessandros is arguably the best
Edit: do yourself a favor and get some pizza as well. Some of the best in the country for sure. Most places are solid, but Angelo’s is considered one of the best. There is also a legit Mexican spot in south Philly called “South Philly Barbacoa”
I heard there is some rocky road ice cream statue we are supposed to put our jersey on. Can you drop a pin for that?
What are the odds we get jumped in the parking lot if we are wearing a niners jersey?
Any bar/restaurant recommendations to watch the game?
Say you are coming from Jersey, what would be the best public transportation to the stadium?
I used to live in philly for a bit. I think this is a good place to shout out Jimmy Gs cheesesteaks. Feels like a good spot for niners fans.
If the Eagles win the SB again, will fans eat horse crap to celebrate or was that a once and done?
Google says 15 minutes from the 30th St station to the Linc by cab. How bad should I expect traffic to be on game day?
What type of helmet should you bring that blocks snowballs and is allows In the stadium?
Stay away from the dude with an eagles neck tatt
Can we climb the Rocky statue?
/s
We did fuck the Cowboys for you…with our own dick!
Buddy and I walked from the Radisson hotel to/from the hotel and the South Philly Sports Complex. It was a 30 minute walk. It was safe as there were plenty of other concergoers doing the same thing.
Was in Philly last year but in Fishtown area to see a concert at the Filmore. We parked at Rivers casino and walked around the area. Again felt safe.
Only thing I havenāt gotten to use in Philly, like Iāve done in Chicago and NYC, is there train/subway system, which Iām sure could transport fans to/from the Sports Complex to other areas of city. OP can probably provide more details on that. Can always use Ubers and taxis too.
I’m not going to the game, but is the Philly crowd basically Raider Nation East?
As in, you might get beat up for real if you show up in another team’s gear?
I mean, your stadium ain’t exactly SoFi or AT&T, where I would expect to see a lot of red…
Is there anyone going to the game by themselves? Iām traveling to Jersey this week to visit my brother (I live in the bay), and I am planning to go to the game. Havenāt bought a ticket yet. Iāll be on my own and Iām looking to see if I can go with any other niner fans/groups.
Yes, I would like to know if the Eagle players/coaches stays in a hotel the night before a game and if so what is the hotel name and location? J/K
Best of luck on Sunday to Eagles. Go 9ers!!!
Parking: it seems thereās some reserved parking via 3rd party, but can I just show up and park at the stadium? Or should I figure out another solution? Thinking about parking at the Radisson and walking from there.
How can one afford an nfc championship ticket? Esp in tech recession š
Anyone know where the Niners are staying?
Just a heads up. No true Eagles fan would call them the “Philly Eagles.” It’s “Philadelphia Eagles.” This guy is probably here to sabotage you, and is very likely the person who cut the water in the Giants hotel last week. Beware.
As a Philadelphian, Iām wondering how this dude from South Jersey somehow became the *pinned* spokesperson for āhow to navigate Phillyā in the 49ers sub. Best of luck to you all.
P.S. – Dalessandroās is nowhere near Center City or the stadium. Highly unlikely anyone from out of town is getting a cheesesteak there.
How can I get get the best Xfinity Live venue experience? Last I went it was a shit show.
