Anyone have an idea what this is about?

  1. Wondering if this was some public statement put out about the changes, if it’s to address the failures of the season, what the nature of the statement is?

  2. It means change your expectations because we’re about to suck. Of course they use a picture of Mike Evans (the only legitimate hope to any Bucs fan at this point)

For me… it’s time to take the Brady jersey off… put on the Mike Evans jersey… and hope maybe I can get it autographed by Mike one day… winning??? (Playoffs?!?!?…You want talk about…playoffs?!!!? PLAYOFFS?!?!)

  3. How do we get back to the before Bowles HC culture?

Your the one who fucked it up Bowles. Look in the mirror.

  4. Sooo you mean back to what we were prior to BA being here? Cause that’s pretty much what we went back to this year…

  5. There seems to be a large disconnect between fans and players on Bowles. If Bowles didn’t have the locker room he’d be on his way out without a question. LVD and others have too much sway for that not to be the case. It is very clear there was a locker room issue with players who were still living off the high of the SB win the man even said it himself. This statement posted by the team isn’t some new revelation for Bowles or the team itself. They were well aware for quite some time now that there were guys in the locker room who thought after winning an SB they could just coast and not continue to improve. Give the man a damn chance to hire his own staff and not have to deal with a door knob of an OC like Leftwich.
If you’re upset about our offensive play you should direct that at BA for hiring a man who refuses to acknowledge the way the game is changing. Leftwich and BA had this same issue the SB year of not utilizing our weapons appropriately and thinking PA requires a good run game. No risk it no biscuit should’ve never been associated with BA, the dude was conservative on 4th downs and loved to waste a down or two running the ball with no success. We truly lucked out that year on multiple occasions, LaFluer practically conceded the game by kicking a FG instead of going for it. Anyways, see y’all next year, can’t wait to drink on every 1st down run.

    > Number two, I think guys that are living off the Super Bowl are living in a fantasy land, and you got to get your hands dirty and go to work like everyone else. And we’ve been working hard, we got to work harder. Nobody’s going to give us anything or feel sorry. So, we got to go back as coaches, as players, and time for talking is over. You either got to put up or shut up.”

  6. I think it means he’ll be fully in charge… we said for two years Brady forced Arians to change his offense and then we speculated he’s the reason Arians got moved up stairs… Todd Bowles probably didn’t have much say so over a guy who retired, tried to go to Miami, then came back and sent Arians upstairs to die ….

  7. Listen our problems this year came from a lack of chemistry. That was a result of the most “veteran days off” I have ever seen. TB and the receivers ran one on one drills exactly not once all god damn season. Brady was checked out. Plain and simple. The play calling was awful. Plain and simple. Now we are so salary capped fucked there’s no out. Plain and simple. Wouldn’t trade it and the SB for anything. Plain and simple.

  8. With the changes coming up they have to be make really really good moves as far as qb, OC, and the draft. If not we will be back in the old Bucs life again. And honestly I don’t think Jason Licht has the ability to make the right choices. Yes we got a Super Bowl win but outside that he has been relatively awful.

  9. Patriots fan here, Buccaneers just got lazy and unmotivated once they won just one chip hence Brady leaving. Now Todd Bowles and the Bucs have to move heaven and earth to convince Brady to stay which isn’t happening lol

  10. If Brady doesn’t retire and he’s no longer a Buc, the organization has failed. Something was off this year and it was 100% coaching.

  11. We can all agree the team took a big step back this year, but I don’t have a problem with this comment. Bowles only had a year and had some challenges. One of those has been addressed. Hopefully they’ll make some beneficial moves in the off-season. Let’s see how he bounces back before being too critical. If they continue to regress, yeah then a bigger change might need to be made.

  12. Some of our team cashed in on the Super Bowl and promptly mailed it in.. Cut a few high paid guys and replace them with a 23 year old that will run through a wall

  13. He’s talking about the half dozen coaches fired mainly on offense.

The offence will hopefully have a half competent OC and staff next year.

The play calling and design or lack there of was terrible.

The second the Bucs can’t out talent the other team, they’re in trouble.

Byron did nothing to make it easier, the run game was historically bad.

When he did run it was always first down.

The defence wasn’t particularly bad this year, the offence went from 30 points a game to 18.
That also made it harder on the defence because they stalled out so often and had no run game.

Obviously the o line was bad, but again Byron did nothing to help, virtually no play action.

The only time they ever looked competent was in 2 min when Brady was calling the plays.

It was also reported by Pewter report that they were almost going to fire Byron Leftwhich mid season.

There was major friction between Todd Bowls and Byron both Brady and Bowls wanted more runs.

The National media have no idea what there talking about when they’re simping for Byron.

The local guys know what’s up and they were scathing on Byron and had people in the building telling them they were correct.

The idea that Byron was in consideration for HC along side Todd Bowls was never even a thought by anyone in that building, he was essentially exposed.

Brady had 5 4th Quarter comebacks last year and they only had an 8 and 9 record

  14. It means we are posing for a return to Buccaneer football as we have known it outside of the Brady years.

  15. So he’s admitting that he let the culture go to hell after arians stepped down? It’s on the head coach to set the culture, unfortunately Bowles has the charisma and leadership skills of a sock

  16. I 100% get this. When Brady first came here, everyone was hyped and excited about what that meant. You could tell they were enjoying themselves. During that first year you could see the “tough love” Brady put out and how well the players took it. “He says he’s hard on us because he believes in our abilities, that we’re capable…”(roughly what was said)

Fast forward a year and you can still see the competitiveness but there’s less, “This is awesome!” in everyone’s faces. Part way through Brown has a meltdown but makes a valuable point after his exit. (to clarify I do not like or condone AB’s behavior) The point was that Brady needed him. Like he needs all his players. I believe Brady is a good guy and wanted AB to succeed but you can’t ignore his competitive nature. He wants skilled players like any QB should and I feel his competitiveness overshadows the focus on natural locker room camaraderie.

The fact is, Brady is/was here to win. Third year comes around and things aren’t going your way, what is Brady going to do. Yell. It’s what he does when shits not working and I believe everyone just got tired of it. It turned from a group of guys taking a lecture as “tough love” into a group of guys getting the jist of a message but tuning the rest out. Who wants to be yelled at all the time? That’s why this message holds as much weight as it does for me. There’s little togetherness on the offensive side of the ball and I feel it’s started to affect the defensive side as well. When people aren’t happy and the mood is shit, it’s hard to stay positive and want to be there. I’m grateful to Brady for the SB win and the fun he brought here for the fan base but I’m also ready for him to move on and see a team that’s ballin because they want to and not just because it’s their job. I also miss JPP keeping everyone hyped, I know he was falling off skill wise but that shit helps. Nacho’s great for morale too. Love my team though 100%

  17. so here’s my really BAD take

**you = fans** because let’s face it, we had hope and cheered for every down TB12 touched and ran; we had hope with TB12

**we’ll = the team** will have a different chemistry because fans won’t be cheering, chemistry will be worse and camaraderie will be non-existent as fans really hate to go back to losing again

  18. Read into it what you will. This is a clear indicator that there was some “ locker room only” shit going on this season. We will know what really sunk our season in a few years, or when Brady officially leaves.
