Matt Millen gave us the alternate black jerseys, we promptly went 0 – 16 the next year. Those two events will forever be linked. It’s PTSD for those of us who witnessed it.

Yeah it’s like Carolina. Whatevaaa. I think it’s dope and would prolly cop that black #14 instantly. This is the BRAND NEW LIONS people. We bring the BNBU(brand new black uniforms)? Oh it’s lights out. Oh and I was there for 0-16 too and lemme tell ya…didn’t have a whole lot to do with the uniforms they wore 😬

Lions only embraced black part of the way previously. They would need to lean into more for it to work.

I like how everything on the jersey pops! Easily readable and distinguishable. I don’t think the black/grey/black jersey/shorts/socks combo as it doesn’t really flow well.

I’m all for trying some new uniforms because ours are so basic and bland.. but I’m not really a fan of the black ones either. I heard we put in for new uniforms with the league hopefully we get some changes soon.
Haven’t pretty much every modern sports team done the alternate black uniforms already? How about the Lions don’t look like every single other team. It’s not edgy, new, or cool looking. It’s a boring retread of an overused uniformz idea.
