  1. Im gonna be honest I missed yesterday’s game and saw the thumbnail and thought “OK we gotta stop posting these its kinda just cope at this point” but then I saw the runs added to Toronto and good Lord. What did we do to deserve this?

  2. As I’ve said many times, this team needs to play better than they have been recent but holy shit have they got the short end of the stick from the umps

  3. Oooof

But we also can’t blame every loss on the umps but holy forking shirt balls this doesn’t help.

  4. Man the Umps have just not been in our favor this season lol… But lets be real we lost that because our hitting sucked, they gave us plenty of chances to win and we just couldn’t hit the ball and when we did it was a pop fly or a grounder into a double play just like the whole season pretty much. Giving me flashbacks of that article about how we just got a new hitting coach with no experience but that’s ok, we have some of the worst hitting in the league if that changed the umps BS wouldn’t even matter.

  5. Almost. Two. Runs.

I absolutely cannot. This is ridiculous. We lost by two runs. Murder me.

  6. If I’m AK, I’m bringing a driver to my next at bat…since all the strikes being called on him are at his shoelaces.

  7. I’d bring a lawsuit against MLB and the Umpire whatever they’re called. I’d sue everyone for this shit.

  8. 2 run favor is so insane. There really really needs to be some sort of system to hold these disasterclass ump shows accountable

  9. Slightly tangential but Michael A. Taylor’s last name is not “A. Taylor.”

  10. So fucking tired of this. The Twins have been getting absolutely fucked by the umps the past two weeks.

Almost all of the 1.93 is the 3-2 pitch to Taylor. A strikeout there instead of a walk is a 1.8 run difference. Just a massive missed call, not a close pitch either.

  11. So by this data, we still would have lost by 0.07 runs if the ump was evenly handed. My calculations show we need to be up by at least 0.01 runs to win.

  12. Those 2 way outside to the right were back to back to Toronto’s number 8 or 9 hitter I think. They were so bad it seemed like the ump was trying to send that guy a message.

They were also strikes one and two and overall inconsequential in the game.

  13. I watched the end of the Cardinals-Guardians game. Cards got shafted on a last pitch strikeout where earlier in the at-bat a high pitch was called a ball. The ump was erratic as all hell, and the Guardians should not have closed the game out when they did.
