  1. Playing with balls? Rubbing off on people? Rod is out of control today.

  2. Bunting is not sexy…everyone wants to see the big home run…I blame Sosa and Mcguire…😛

    small ball is exciting imo

  3. It’s the memorial day bunting they have up around the park, Rod just sees it and it’s all he can think of.

  4. Guarantee Rod was exaggerating when he said he spent half of BP bunting. It was clearly at least 75% of the time.

  5. Join us for the Bottom of the 3rd when Rod Carew talks for 45 minutes about: passed ball strikeouts

  6. Lopez feels like Berrios… optically his stuff looks really good but his fastball is laser straight and if he loses the offspeed stuff it can lead to some brutal innings (albeit Lopez has a change vs Jose’s breaking ball)

  7. The amount of time that it takes to go from “Oh cool Rod’s in the booth!” to “oh my god shut up Rod” gets shorter every time

  8. Little known fact 16/18 of Rod Carews all star seasons? All bunts, didn’t even field, he DHed and just bunted

  9. I really do think players should bunt for hits more, especially against shifts.

  10. So I don’t like the sweeper purely because I don’t think it misses bats as much as people say. Unless you really break it outside so it misses the end it’s a pitch that just moves to the barrel

  11. Wallner’s been up in the major’s long enough to afford sunglasses now right?

  12. Alright I see a couple of you are at the game today….

If Toronto puts a lefty reliever in, I want to see one of you sprinting down the isle with a muzzle so Rocco can’t pinch hit for Kirilloff…

    Kids too good

  13. Maybe it’s Piranha nostalgia, but I hope we keep Castro up as long as possible and send down Garlick, Wallner, and Julien for Polo, Kepler, and Royce. His utility outweighs leaving Julien on the bench when we have Farmer.

  14. If the strategy is “play to your strengths”, challenging calls is not something we should do.

  15. You know what I love? Overturned bad calls and mugs large enough to hold an entire can of soup.
