Not sure I love this. This seems just like a money saving move (shocked face with Bally being so shit ass broke). I would hope they’d at least do a search or look to Kerbs or Joey and promote them from radio duty.

You might as well just not have a color guy and put a piece of cardboard between the benches at that point. It’s cheaper than Rivers and also provides the same amount of insight and personality.

You can’t replace Panger, but I like Jamie Rivers.
Not sure how much I can handle “well back in my day if being a 7-8th journeyman defenseman” from Rivers. His breakdown of the game can be fantastic at times but the callbacks of his career is brutal.

I like Rivers on 101. I like Vitale to join with JK. I think he could actually cause a laugh attack from him.
Would much rather have Joey V take over for Panger. I’ll throw my hat in the ring as well. I went to broadcasting school and have been watching, playing, analyzing hockey my entire life. I’d much rather listen to myself talk then Rivers.
