Aaron Rodgers quizzing the players is a bad thing?

It’s a packers based blog but still. I love that Aaron Rodgers is quizzing the players. I think it’s awesome that he’s taking a driver seat approach to the offense.

  1. As soon as I saw the “WI” I knew it was gonna be all salt. Just a bias puff piece.

  2. Folks it’s a professional work environment. Rodgers is an experienced football leader who has a lot of work to do to get comfortable before the season.

  3. Thats the greenbay media man, it’s only a matter of time until they try to spin it as a bad thing that he won a superbowl there. I don’t know if i’m still a packer fan, the weird double think the media is putting out there to try and support the front office is just nauseating.

  4. Crying all the way back in cheese land on that article…

i don’t give a shit if he takes over the practice, makes all the players wear bras and play Sarcastiball.

And shit, he’s been in the NFL longer than any Jets coach on staff right now. QBs ARE coaches. Especially HOF ones… If you don’t play like the offense “belongs to you” then you’re just another arm cannon who will be out of the league or career backup by year 4.

  5. 40+ year (former) Packer fan here. Rodgers could cure f-ing cancer, and the GB front office, along with 50% of its fanbase, would still find a reason to complain. Lots of small-d energy in that group.

  6. This is why I hate articles like this- we finally have an opportunity to change the culture and of course this story comes out – FFS let it be already. What total BS.

  7. Its just another sad attempt to somehow spin a story into making Rodgers look bad. If he was too silent in meetings or at practice there would be a story that Rodgers doesn’t care enough.

Its also just the weirdest thing. The most over talked about narrative with Rodgers over the years is that he doesn’t try to help young WRs. Everything since he came here has shown that he’s gone above and beyond to help them and has been very present at OTAs. Been saying and doing all the right things yet somehow some shitty hit piece has to be thrown out there. Hes one of the most bizarrely treated athletes of this generation.

  8. Depends. Is he quizzing them on star charts or the
melting point of construction grade steal?

  9. Another example of salty GB fans projecting their negativity to try and heal the wound. This is what a motivated Rodgers looks like with a front office that actually cares to listen. For this reason, and many others, is why I’m a Packers fan rooting for the Jets for the foreseeable future.
