  1. This squad needs Juan Uribe, Kelly Johnson, and all of the bench mob to save this season.

  2. Is it really pain if we’re conditioned to this being normal? Like you can’t hurt me if I’m already hurt to begin with.

  3. Jeez everyone’s so negative. I don’t want to hear from any of you when we turn it around just to get swept in the WC round.

  4. We did it boys! One step closer to a team ERA of 5! Only teams worse than us are Oakland, KC Colorado and the Reds! Two teams that aren’t real MLB teams, and two that play in home run derby parks. Whoo! And to top it off no prospects in site or help on the horizon! Joyous!

  5. I think they should call up Nate Lavender and give him a shot in either the Hunter/Leone roles. He can’t really be much worse and at least its someone different that can be a vindication for the drafting and developing team, as he was taken very late in the 2021 draft

  6. It’s difficult being a fan of this franchise. I’m tired of this shit man. I never thought things would get this bad.

  7. Braves fan mocking Pete for saying throw it again. A lot of them seem to think Pete’s injury was karma. Trash fanbase.

  8. Love Lindor taking personal accountability after the game. Now line up the rest of the losers on this team and tell them to do the same.

  9. I live near Pittsburgh. My mother has been begging for a family vacation (to watch baseball actually lol) for months since it’s been several years since we’ve been able to and we decided on doing a little Father’s Day baseball trip with the whole family (they’re down to like 5 parks left before they complete all 30!)

Well, initially I was really disappointed to learn that I wouldn’t be home in Pit during the Mets series this year. Those super natural powers about mothers protecting their kids are insane, she saved me from paying Bob Nutting money to watch whatever that was today.

  10. Rough week, braves phillies and marlins all have won 6 in a row, while Mets have lost 7 in a row.

  11. Who can we sell at the deadline? Robertson? Tommy Pham? Would anyone take Ottavino’s washed arm?

  12. I don’t know about you all but I was proud as hell of the way the boys fought tonight. Could have folded the tent there in the 9th inning. Shot a lot of bullets and arrows there. Just couldn’t get enough outs.

  13. Seriously fuck this tream.

The pirates just fucking reamed us.

    What a god damn joke.

  14. Lots of blame to go around for sure. I like Baty, but he’s got to be better than a .235 hitter at third with no pop. That can’t be your starting third baseman if you want the team to contend.

  15. I have no idea why this team doesn’t bring up Peterson, Butto and/or Luchessi. Just bring up two out of the three. I’m not saying any of the three are good, but they have to be better than Nogosek, Tommy Hunter or Leone. If we brought up 2 of them , we could try running them on pitching every 3rd-5th day and pitch them for 3-4 innings. Would give our bullpen much needed rest and length.

We have a starter go down before the 5th like every other day. Why don’t we have long relievers to rely on.

  16. Season is over. Have some pride, show Eppler the door – now – and then sell, sell, sell. What a disaster. If Cohen can’t get this team to regular NLCS level in next 2-3 years then the team is legitimately cursed and may not get there in the next 100 years.

  17. Glad I was able to replay this game on the Show where we won 3-1, with 10 Ks by Megill

  18. If this disaster continues there needs to be a documentary on the highest valued implosion ever seen

  19. Amazing how after the Mets swept the Phillies last week, Mets can’t win and Phillies can’t lose. Baseball makes no sense.

  20. At least this aint a September collapse like we been use to No false hope this year boys We are dead in June

  21. Uncle Stevie should call Theo Epstein and give him part of ownership that Theo wanted. Then have Theo clean house of these FA vets and Buck and the coaching staff except Joey Cora.

  22. About what you’d expect for a team whose plan landed at 4:30 AM this morning.

  23. If the Mets even had league average pitching their offense would carry them to a WC. What a waste of Alonso and Nimmo’s primes.

  24. Every single decision Eppler has made has turned immediately to shit. If there’s ever a time to fire someone for Christ sake do it before he touches the deadline again 😳
