1. Not surprised with the Chase Young news. Coach Tomlin loves Chase Young

5. I would imagine this would cost a 1st or 2nd round pick. For a guy who can’t stay healthy. Who we would have to extend for 80 million. I would put this about as likely as me banging Jennifer Lopez in a bed of 4 leaf clovers while winning a scratch off for 5 million. Give or take.

7. People need to calm down. Young is approaching bust territory. 9 sacks in 27 career games. Highsmith had 14 last season. Young would be backup here.

8. I’d do it for a 3rd round pick and nothing more. We probably won’t get him for that. He is also going to need extended which we absolutely cannot do.

9. Chase young isn’t that great. Just a bull rush with no move. Maybe if he can learn, but Highsmith is 10x more skilled edged.

10. Heyward, Watt, Young on the same Dline would be terrifying for QBs next year. Doubt it happens but its fun to think about.

11. A situational pash rusher that would be a 1 year rental is nor worth it. He couldn’t play DE in our defense, and Golden is a proven commodity. So unless it’s for a 7th, I’d pass.

    Literally the equivalent of stating that they like the guy. No statement whatsoever that they are actively engaged in any semblance of conversations.

    The headline stating that they are “in” on him is disingenuous, at best.

    by this I mean that I find these speculations too hypothetical or overpriced to be credible.

17. Worth kicking their tires and see what Washington wants. If healthy( that is a big if) , could be used on the line and lb interchangeably

18. I’d be shocked if they even made a competitive bid for Young.. also is he even a scheme fit? Washington runs a 4-3

19. Hate this time in the off-season. Worse than pre free agency period.

20. Of course we are in on seeing if Chase is a possibility. It matters how seriously we are in.

    He needs like a triple physical before a contract is even thought about.
