  1. He’s a 7’3 center… Not particularly a good shooter looking at his stats… seems like he’s got some potential but idk where he’d slot in when we’re already loaded at the 5 with Mitch, iHart, and Sims. Only real moves I could see at the 5 would be a backup stretch 5 to replace iHart of swapping Mitch for someone like Myles… and I’m not sure any of that makes sense given how critical Mitch (and even iHart) was to our success on both ends. if we are building around Brunson, I like what we’ve got at the 5.

  2. Dude was a high school prospect from The Skill Factory whose father played professional basketball in the Philippines. He got signed to G League ignite in 2020 but couldn’t actually play for the team due to the COVID restrictions, being an international player. Ended up playing in Australia and Japan. As a Filipino Knick fan, I’d love to see it, but I’ve seen him play in person and looks very uncoordinated and slow.

  3. Not hating, but the time to be hyped about the Jeremy Tyler’s & Ricky Ledo’s has passed.

Just like someone said he’s a fan pick, I know the Philippines would go crazy about him.

  4. He has potential as a G-League version of Porzingis but the hype mostly comes cause he’s Filipino and fans there go crazy.

  5. Filipino fans would come flocking over, but I don’t think he’d be very good in the NBA.

  6. Plays for my home town, honestly don’t think he will make it. Don’t think he has the skill.

Also, Filipino fans loved abusing his team mates who started over him in socials. DJ got heaps of abuse and they basically took over the 36ers social feeds, with Free Sotto messages anytime he didn’t start. Which was a fair bit.

  7. He’s a big Filipino, that’s it. He’s not elite enough in any facet of the game.
