3. IMO, nobody trades for Joey until they see how he recovers from his injury.

4. We would have to give up something for someone to take Joey at this point. I say keep him. It’s a 40 pt a year sunk cost and he’s better than Cole smith.

5. If we trade him, it will have to be packaged with a pick. The move would be a salary dump, and not much else. Which could open us up for trading for a player like Alex DeBrincat. So, I believe that it worth it, even if we didn’t sign or trade for another player.
