OFFENSE
Quickest mechanics I’ve seen so far in this draft. Going from his catch to his release is so easy & fluid for him
makes me think we should stopwatch time this like a catcher pop time. Sure I’m not the only one who’s ever thought of this, sure NBA teams do this right now.
Always in rhythm when catching for the shot. Pre loads great.
Not bothered by contests in a worrisome way at all. Has plenty of makes w/ great contests.
Capable of hitting deep deep 3s.
Has games & stretches where he’s seemingly automatic from 3.
Will make teams play so tight on him. The shooting ability requires that kind of attention if utilized properly w/in the flow of an offense.
Will create so much space for teammates
Excellent at spotting up in transition.
They ran a lot of this action w/ Andre Jackson where he brings it up, shields his defender, & drops it behind to Hawkins for a in rhythm 3. Undeniably great weapon for any high IQ lead ball handler.
More than willing to run around off the ball. Great motor in this way. Good IQ for screen navigation as well.
In either direction
Good hips that make him so potent in this area. Able to square up for 3 so quickly.
Excellent coming off screens
