  2. I think we all want to say he is the future, but don’t want to say it because it’s preseason lol

    I do believe he has proven a couple things though. First, he is definitely a top backup QB in the league. Might be the top backup QB. Makes the easy throws look easy. Accurate throws where the receivers aren’t over extending to grab the ball. His deep throws are questionable. But his pocket presence is his money. Thats where he wants to be.

    Second, of all the QBs JMD has coached, he is at least top 3, MOST COMFORTABLE, running that offense. Obviously Brady is 1, and id just say Jimmy G second. Kyle Shanahan runs the west coast extremely well, and expects the qb to be creative enough to make it perfect. I think that’s where him and Jimmy don’t see eye to eye. Jimmy just wants to get rid of the ball. No creativity or extending plays or running. just “one, two, three, throw.” And give the receiver a chance to get YAC. That’s literally what JMD runs and the Patriots. Thats why Deandre Hopkins was the best WR while in Houston. Bill O Brian ran it then and in Alabama. That said, I’ll give the nod to Jimmy G. But after Tom and Jimmy, I’d argue AOC looks just as comfortable running that system.

    Can’t say AOC is the future yet, even tho we all want to say it lol but he atleast has proven those two things.

    Also Tre Tucker, i been saying, is the Deebo Samuel, Danny Amendola to this offense. Couple missed catches although you clearly see the DBs foot kicks the ball yesterday at the end zone, and the under throw from AOC wasn’t on him. The dropped ball from the kick return was a clear mistake. But damn his breakaway speed at the LOS is just crazy. Its like a Tesla vs Corvette. Electricity travels faster so speed just hits. He definitely is going to be the Swiss knife.
