Yahoo sports uses Sabermetrics formula to rank ex-Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard as 5th best GM in the league. (Cronin omitted because he is too new)

1. Obviously Pritchard is active as the Pacers GM, so many of the variables input in this formula include his activity as a Pacer exec.

   But his moves with Portland are listed and scored as well and factored into the calculation (hence the relevance with posting here).

   They omitted Cronin and 4 other GM’s for being too new.

2. I still don’t understand the firing of Prichard, he had made some veteran moves while also able to successfully clear the books when it was clear things weren’t working out

3. Firing him was one of the most confusing moves we ever did. I don’t know a single Blazer fan that was happy about it.
