This is hilarious.
Too long? Yeah. Too much money? Mayfield at 3.5 mil is kind of a steal. I guarantee most teams on the open market would’ve given a guy like him $5-6 mil for around 3 or 4 years.
Dom from the Athletic strikes again
Canceled my subscription almost exclusively due to him. Given that they’re currently try to give their content away for $1/month when it was $8 when the Athletic launched, something tells me this company is struggling for a userbase to fund their massive payroll of journalists.
Anyone else notice the higher amount of clickbait titles the Athletic has put out compared to 3-4 years ago?

I mean I definitely have some concerns but being dead last does seem a bit extreme.
