Foglino produces on the ice *and* in the locker room. Why get rid of him for a bag of chips and an extra $2 mil in cap flexibility, to severely downgrade at the position, and lose a locker room leader?

Moose is a big voice in the locker and a great leader for the team. Hes one of the best shutdown players out there. If we are going to trade anyone it’d be Merril or Goose tbh. I don’t see the upside of letting him go. Full disclosure he’s one of my favorite players on the team so take that bias into account.
