I’m excited for some CBS Vikings games. I always think their coverage is better than Fox.
always amazes me that the packers/Bears gets primetime every single year week 1 even though it hasn’t been a rivalry in 30 years

I have a feeling Matt ryan in the booth could be rough, at least at the beginning. He seems like a cool dude though so hopefully he can figure it out. Greg Olson was awful his first season but I thought he did a great job last year.
Well, I’ll be in a sports bar and won’t be able to hear the announcers anyway, so that’s fine with me. Here in Indy we’re going to get Cleveland/Cincinnati instead of the Vikes.
Tangentially related to broadcasts, I’m really hoping my usual streams are reliable this year. The major sports bosses made some waves a week+ ago with the push for faster DMCA takedowns.
I’m very whelmed by Sunday Ticket on Youtube, especially for the money. As an out of market fan, I’d be happy to pay the NFL $400 for *every* game. But for just the afternoon games with blackout restrictions still in place, no replays, no preseason, no postseason? I think I’ll stick to sailing the seas with my bros.
