  2. Always like Jack growing up as a young Reds fan. Dude gave up more hits than innings pitched most years, but he was a workhorse and ate a lot of innings. Major cog in the Big Red Machine pitching staff. He was a monster in 1973… 19-10, 40 GS, 293.1 IP and a 3.04 ERA. Didn’t strike out many but also didn’t walk many.
