Hello Falcons fans!
I’m a huge sports and statistics fan so I was interested in starting a project where I could keep track of all fans’ perceptions of their team as the season progresses!
With the start of the season this week I would be delighted to see what the hopes of the different fan bases are at this current moment!
Now I know many things can influence a team’s success which is why I want to collect this information during these pivotal moments of the season.
\-The Start of the Season (this Poll)
\-After the Trade Deadline (October 31)
\- At the start of the playoffs (Before January 13 where hopefully your team will be at the end of this season!)
This way we can compare how the front office’s decisions affect the hopes of fan bases as well as player development and injuries.
It will also be fun to see what teams are most hopeful, most accurate, or what teams will be the most shattered by the surprises which sports has in store for us.
I will be gathering up these results in this google sheet so feel free to check it out for yourself if you want to see the results from other fanbases for yourself

If you have any questions or suggestions for this project I hope you let me know and I’m looking forward to seeing a nice civil debate in the comments below 😉
Thank you guys for your participation and best of luck to your team and let’s hope for a low injury season for all!

I want us to have 8+ wins. I want to see the team actually start moving the in right direction.
I’ll be disappointed with anything less than 11 wins with this schedule
they should make the playoffs, probably by winning the division. beyond that, everything is gravy. less than that, and they’ll need to change course in some sense.
A playoff appearance for the first time in 6 years would be nice
I was between both the 1st and 2nd most voted options. We are all optimistic and I like that. I chose make the playoffs even though I fully expect to be able and win a wildcard game but you just never know who we would end up facing.
i bet we ALMOST make the playoffs. i hope i’m wrong, but honestly i don’t think ridder is the guy, and i’m really starting to question whether AS is a good coach. after watching some of the preseason games, AS as a coach just doesn’t seem to really have it. it felt like most teams have us all figured out already. we looked like shit. but hey, i’m not a coach, i’m no football expert, i don’t know shit really, i’m just going by the eye test. and even though it was just preseason, we looked like hot garbage out there. I HOPE I”M WRONG THOUGH!!!
Expectations are way too high for a team with a big fat question mark at QB.
10 wins is my perfect number. I believe in Ridder. I like his confidence. He plays within himself. He commands the offense well. He uses his legs when needed. Also he always knows where he’s going with the ball. There’s no hesitation or second guessing. He’s very confident in his decision making with the football. I think his growth over the season will surprise a lot of people.
I have high expectations; but will likely be disappointed. The MB experience has been disgustingly expensive and an abject failure. Also the free club food sucks.
Might I suggest you do this poll every 6 games?
It would give you a better sample source.
Playoffs?!
/s but yeah, definitely reach the playoffs. We’ve still got question marks and areas that could use more depth, but we’re absolutely better than last year or 2021.
I believe in Ridder but he’s our biggest question mark. If he’s decent, we will 8-9 games and take the division. If he’s GOOD? I think a wildcard win can happen. Idk if we have the defense to get to a conference championship yet.
We’ve been in rebuild, so seeing something beyond 7-10 with a bad defense would make me happy.
