We have expensive players that we have restructured the contracts on to create future cap space. Itās not like thatās their aav.

Yea, this is a huge gripe for me. Irresponsible allocation of resources for a non-premium position. Imagine what this team could do with allocating even just half of the safety cap hit to the LOS. The team would be objectively better.
Unfortunately, this is just one of those things with Pete where you have to take the bad with the good. The guy can’t help himself with DB’s. Pete is the only coach in the league that would dare trade 2 first round picks for a strong safety. It sucks and it’s detrimental to the long term health of the roster, but the guy just absolutely fucking loves DBs.
