The 1990 Cardinals won Game 140 over the Cubs, 9-2. Ray Lankford had four hits and Felix Jose hit a home run. After Bryn Smith could only go four innings, my childhood hero John Tudor pitched four innings of scoreless relief for the W. Some people might say that this is the last win of John Tudor’s career, but they can all shut the fuck up.

Wainwright is snake-bit. He would have had a W if he’d pitched either of the other games.
The inconsistency in home plate calls was unfortunate more than a few times
I so want Wainwright to accomplish his 200 wins just because it would be the bright spot in a gloomy season. It just sucks that we can’t score 10 or 11 runs in his starts (like we did the past few days).
