Cuz Luka can’t defend a chair and Wood can’t either so you gotta pick one.
Because of his cheap contract this is a small risk. A lot of people are comparing him to Dwight but other than the cheap contract there’s nothing else.
I don’t trust the Mavericks to make pro level decisions. It’s too wrapped up in the owner’s ego. (Clippers syndrome)
The Mavericks badly need a defensive big. Their offense is already loaded with Luka and Kyrie. Christian Wood’s fit in Dallas was horrible. Glad we got him for a bag of potato chips.
yep, this is just who he is at this point. we have so many good defenders though so i think it won’t be as bad

Wood was great with Detroit and it’s absolutely made up that every single coach didn’t want him.
Shocking Wood couldn’t be prime Dwight defensively for a team that gives up like 120ppg a night.
How insecure do you have to be to try to “leak” why you let a player go after he signs with another team less than a month before training camp?

The cap 🧢 is real. Detroit wanted to sign him to an extension so did the Mavs and Rocket wanted him enough to sign him to 3 year contract. We all know he has locker room problems and Kidd never wanted him so obviously it didn’t work out in Dallas but I don’t agree with that and also don’t agree with the defense narrative.
Yeah but minimum and under the watchful eye of LeCoach he will flourish.
