Wow this is something you don’t see everyday. Kirby did not want to pitch the 7th yesterday and openly blames his manager for him giving up the lead.
I know we always complain about the rays pulling pitchers too early but this is definitely an interesting other perspective.

Were any of you who were watching the game having any doubts that he was absolutely gassed in the 7th inning? He was toast before he even gave up that double to Siri. As soon as Pinto started fouling balls off, that HR was inevitable.
