I just want to take a moment to realize just how big tomorrow is man. We are entering a new era whether it’s continuing the streak or into a mystery period. The intrigue and suspense all offseason has led to tomorrow. I’m excited and will back my mfing coach MLF and my QB JLove all the way
Reality might hit REALLY hard tomorrow when a significant portion of the Packer fan base will learn what life without a HOF qb in the NFL can look like
He’s handling it well in the media so far; something neither really had to do at this crazy insane level of social media. Definitely not Favre and 2008 wasn’t really about social media yet.
I know that may seem insignificant to some, but it’s a huge part of the gig. I love it. His videos on the Packers YouTube give me so much confidence in him. It’s crazy he’s not even 25 yet! (November, fwiw.)
In the entire history of the NFL, the Packers have the most 4,000 yard passing seasons and the most 30 touchdown passing seasons by an individual with 17 and 17. The Bears are in last place with Zero and Zero. The Bears franchise record for most passing yards in a season is 3,383 (Erik Kramer 1995), which would be the 25th most passing yards in Packers franchise history.
I was optimistic and even a little excited until Watson went down. You need a go-to guy while the other guys learn and improve. I think our ownership of the Bears may well be coming to an end.
Man, I remember the start of the ‘09 season and thinking g the world was in chaos
I’m really pissed that I’ll be missing tomorrows game.
From 1993 to 2023 the Packers have had three opening game starting QBs.
This is only the second time in my entire lifetime that we’ve entered a season with an unknown at quarterback. I’ve been alive for 30 NFL seasons.
God I fucking wish Watsons hammies weren’t completely fucked. Gonna make this game way harder
