Was it actually a demotion though? I thought this was about innings management more than performance
Questionable move by Baldelli to send him down in the first place. Keep him on the team but space his starts out more or use him as a mid reliever. Ober has one of the higher WARs on team. Got to get him to 160 innings by the end of 2024.
I still think Bailey should be the 4th starter if we get that far in the playoffs. Otherwise he’d be a great reliever.
