When are we going to admit that the reason we suck in the beginning of the season is because of the FACT that we don’t give out starters enough play time in the preseason?!?!?
This is STUPID.
Last season was the same thing, we put all this effort in having potential players play in the preseason, like our own damn starters don’t need the practice. We’re so concerned about injuries that we sacrifice a couple of real games that may have value later in the season. We then spend that time to ‘get it right’, while other teams are winning in our division…
It’s the dumbest strategy.
Meanwhile we’re trying to save face by saying stupid shit like “The weather really held us back!”…
Really?
Then why did the Browns, who were in the same weather absolutely own us?
Because they were the better team, I called this two weeks ago.
People act like Deshaun Watson wasn’t a top 5 QB two years ago.
Like Myles Garrett forgot how to tackle, well now, there’s multiple threats just as good as Garrett.
This was a garbage game, we’ll get better as we play, but we better give started more playing time next preseason.
