I hear it in my head every game I watch and every time I drive by Vin Scully Ave.
I don’t remember alot of things in detail from my childhood, but I vividly remember listening to him call a game Burt Hooton pitched when I was 8 years old and my family was on vacation in Santa Barbara and I was looking down at the hotel pool from our room on a cloudy misty summer day in 1975.
SNLA still uses a recording of Vin telling us it’s time for Dodger baseball at the head of every broadcast.
Still missed. Vin Forever💙
Vin was the grandpa I never had. Thank you so much Vin for the stories as a kid.
When the Padres are on a hot streak, and then they hear this…
They ain’t gonna be so hot no more…
The Dodgers need to put this as a sound byte on Spotify.
I’m old enough to remember fans bringing small radios so they could listen to him announce while watching the game.
