so i started doing this in like July, after the Astros win in a fun/notable way (walk off, clutch home run, no hitter, batter goes on a tear, etc.) and it’s so fun to me. i take the Astros’ insta post,
find a picture from Hubble, make it the background, and add other space- themed stickers and gifs, to tag along with a witty space themed caption and a space themed song. the issue is, i’m running out of space themed songs😅 let me know if there’s any space themed songs i should do next, even songs that aren’t inherently space themed, but have a line or two that mention space will work (see: Drive By Truckers slide)
First slide- Yainer’s walk off months ago
Second slide- Astros fathered the rays😭
Third slide- reacquired JV
Fourth slide- Framber’s no hitter (and my favorite of the captions lol)
Fifth slide- Tuck’s clutch HR against the O’s
Sixth slide- Altuve’s home run tear (second favorite caption)
Seventh slide- yesterday’s Doobie walk off
there’s no real point to this post other than to show y’all some fun little things i like to do that make Astros victories just a little bit sweeter. y’all should try it too
