First 10.000 fans to arrive at the arena will get a limited edition Luongo bobblehead
But him right next to Burrows.
Would it be possible for them to retire both Mclean and Luongo’s #1 up at the rafters at the same time?
I don’t like this, Lu’s 1 should be retired! If the canucks are worried about the outrage caused by kirk mclean supporters as a result of this, they could have retired the number for both legends. terrible decision imo. this guy was our best goalie ever!
LLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Retire his number
Yes Bobby Lu!!!
Good that they are doing something but I think he should be in the rafters. He’s in the HOF and had his best years in Vancouver.
The only argument against it is that McLean wore #1 first. McLean meant a lot to the city, but did he mean more than someone like Burrows? No one is calling for #14 to be retired, and Burr is one of the most loved Canucks of all-time.
I’m not going to lose sleep over it, but Lu should be in the rafters IMO
