This is beautiful. Anyone who lost someone can understand her words and they’re beautiful. And I have a ton of respect for Colorado and Makar for going out of their way for the family.
Love that this had a great impact on the family. Every time I read something she’s shared it has seemed very sincere and heartfelt. It seems like they had a strong relationship.
The whole thing was really cool, having the kids read off the starting lineup for both teams and then the puck drop. Awesome of Makar and the Avs to do all of that for them.
