99% of these posts are rightfully about the travesty of our offense, however I just want to point out the Defense has been dominant since this man arrived.

Was nice to see the D line so dominant last night, a huge improvement from earlier in the season.
This is an under-appreciated storyline right now. It’s looking like we’re just a pass-rusher, defensive lineman, and a safety away from a complete defense. Also loved seeing Gervon Dexter break out a bit last night – dude was a wrecking ball, even if he didn’t impact the box score very much.
Massive turnaround for this unit. They’re playing with much more confidence and are flying to the ball. Eberflus is awful as a HC, but DC he is really quite good. He’s been able to push the right buttons and last night really started to see it at all position levels from DL-LB-Secondary.
Im perfectly happy with a team based on crushing defense and efficient offense. Winning 17-10 is just fine with me
Gonna be honest, I’m really loving the Sweat trade.
They were incredible last night. Hope they can continue dominating for the rest of the season.
no cap defense been top tier
Most of the yards they gave up were gifted by the refs truly dominant performance and agree we should focus more on what we have vs what we dont
It’s crazy, you actually pressure the qb and your db’s start making more plays on the ball. I wonder if there’s a correlation there.
Dominant? I recall them giving up 2 TDs to Detroit in the final mins of last game. I swear everyone here has amnesia
I don’t know if you can say dominant based on the ending of the Detroit game. But obviously improved since he got here.
The D has been much better since the HC took over.
But bla bla bla fire him because rabble rabble rabble…
I imagine this is coming from a Poles burner account. Talk your shit Poles.
Dominant? They look better but they still completely collapsed last week against Detroit and Goff.
I love the Sweat trade and the d-line does look better – however Dobbs was also terrible last night.
I think the arrow is pointed in the right direction – but we still need to see way more. Playing well against a backup QB is hardly the world’s biggest accomplishment.
Defense has turned a corner this season. Offense has not as of yet. Simple as that.
I wouldn’t go as far as dominant, but yes significantly improved.
For like the past 8 years, the running game of opposing teams have been able to just go right down the middle for big gains. It has slightly improved this year but it’s still pretty horrendous. A frequent thought in my head is “how did NOBODY get him right there?” And our corners are just average.
Dominant would be 85 bears, or the team that urlacher was on, or the legion of boom.
Great. Typical Bears. Let’s get a stout defense with the hopes it’ll carry us to a championship.
That formula is just so well proven.
ill give this to Poles, this roster is very close. if our coaches werent a debacle our record could easily be flipped as we’ve had several games where the players won and the coaches lost
i think we’re one offseason away from being a legit playoff threat, whether it’s Fields or Williams at QB next year
