  1. I can respect Slayton’s numbers but I’ve still yet to forgive him for the game-losing drops he’s had in his career.

The day he makes a game-winning catch in a big game, I’ll forgive all his sins. Until then, he’s on my irrational hate list.

  2. No issue with him as a depth WR, unfortunately we don’t really have a 1 or 2.

  3. He had some drops in crucial moments, it’s the main reason most fans are not fully committed to him. But I do think he’s good enough, he’s been doing well without a good QB for years.

  4. It just doesn’t seem solid when there’s no #1 WR on the team. This just makes him a #1 receiver that only gets 700 yards.

Slayton would look great alongside a true #1. He’s more Manningham than Plaxico.

  5. The bar on these statistics is so low. If he really was that great the team wouldnt be nearly as bad

  6. Slayton has improved different aspects of his game every year.
I used to want to get rid of him but have really come to admire his dedication to improve

  7. I really like Slayton. I just wish he wasn’t always our #1 guy. Would love a dominant receiver to line up with him. Would not only be great to have a true #1 balling out, but would also take attention away from Slayton so he can continue to produce

  8. Slayton is a solid receiver and the Giants need to keep him on the roster. He’s fast and runs routes well. He’s open (a lot) and for whatever reason, QB’s cannot seen to hit him in stride. The Tyrod pass was the first I’ve seen in about three years and Slayton turned on the jets to take it in.

  9. He’s our new Sterling Shepherd he will play up to the caliber of our QB, but let’s hope he doesn’t have the same injury issues as him
