I grew up a huge Mighty Ducks fan then my family moved to NC. I was a kid wearing my ducks jersey with my younger sister, and when the team played the Hurricanes, I went to their hotel and tried to meet the team. I got them to sign a piece of paper and some hockey cards I brought with me. This was the team that made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Some of the players cards I had that they signed are attached. One of my most fond memories growing up. I remember the hotel front desk couldn’t confirm to me the ducks team was staying there that night, but since I played hockey in the area, it was open news that’s where teams typically stayed.
