Man that xPP sure makes a lot of sense because it feels like our powerplay is so constantly *close* to scoring and then just doesn’t
Edmonton’s success in the playoffs this year really will come down to Stuart Skinner. When he’s hot Edmonton goes perfect, when he’s cold Edmonton completely falls apart
League PP must have been having a rough go in January… 7?! I knew we picked up a little bit but whoa
those cumulative numbers reflect much more what i feel about this team though haha
Ah yes, the good ole days of Rangers in November.
The PP and PK have improved so much since the start of the season thankfully
So you’re telling me the Oilers didn’t drop a single game in January while having the 3rd worst finishing in the league?
That bodes well 🙂
Too bad there’s not a ‘Number of points you got that you shouldn’t have if not for your goaltenders playing on their head’ column, we could be first in that one.
What is x5v5 and how is it different from 5v5?
Would be nice if we could find a magic “Turn Otter Back into 2022 Playoffs Otter” button.
I did not see coming the Sens having the 2nd best PK in the league.
The Jacques effect baby
Man the oilers really were unlucky at the start of the season. They had the 2nd highest expected 5V5 numbers but came in 23rd. I feel like they’re gonna continue being a juggernaut for the rest of the season.
Our PP is struggling hard without Theodore, Eichel, and Karlsson.
That looks like a January bad enough to get your coach fired! (Isles)
We went from having the second best PK in the league in November to having the worst one in January
Make it make sense
I’m surprised our PK is so low. I thought we killed off most penalties and lead the league in short handed goals.
God our power play fucking sucks
Lol Canucks x5v5 going from 28 the first month to 2nd now. No more goofy 10-1 or 8-1 games now and they’re actually better
I’m stuck in the gambler’s fallacy regarding the Avs and goaltending. Georgiev started out hot this year, but when he cracked he shattered.
And part of me still thinks he’s a great goalie that needs to circumstances to succeed (like not being paired with a waiver claim backup and wheeled out on the ice as much as he is)
They are truly playing NHL Franchise Mode on their PS5 – sign any goalie, we’re just gonna score more than we let in
What happened to the metro?
If the Jets could ever get something close to an average PP, look the fuck out NHL! haha
Coyotes monthly progression 22>16>14>31. January was bad…
My team is a fucking meme end me already
Where are you Winnipeg? Get back up here with us westerners where you belong. What are you doing hanging out with Toronto?!?
Flyers December: Goaltending – 2
Flyers January: Goaltending – 26

There’s a, I guess you could say a multitude of reasons for that. I love being a Flyers fan guys.
