  3. I hope they turn him down flat. I’m absolutely against public giveaways to rich owners, but sadly torn because I want that fancy new park at the 78 as a Sox fan.

    Left Illinois for many reasons.

    All Jerry has to do is guarantee to funnel money to businesses owned by friends of politicians and to corrupt unions and it will happen.

  7. I really wish that Joe Mansueto would come down as well and tell everyone he’s do it for zero public funds if given the chance. Not for any use or continuation of public funds for any sports stadiums.

  9. If this new ballpark at the 78 is such a great investment then why can’t he raise money in the private sector? Should be a cake walk, right?
