[OC] NHL playoff races as of today.

1. Was looking into the upcoming schedules for the Blues and Preds. They have a way easier schedule and are playing well. The Blues have a harder schedule and are still bipolar. It’s hard to see us staying above the Preds, but the Blues are weird. We could equally lose all our remaining games or win them.

2. It’s crazy the Caps have a game in hand, are tied with the devils, yet have a 30 percentage point less chance to make it than the Devils. The Math checks out to me I just don’t know how.

3. I like this model better than ESPN’s (which has us at like 35% and Tampa at 80%)

4. A 41.3% chance to make the playoffs by going… 16 – 8 – 2??

   That’s hilarious. We’ve been a .500 team all season, there’s no way we pull our asses out of our heads to win .65 the rest of the season.

5. I have a sneaky suspicion the Pens will somehow pull it off. I don’t see them missing it again.

7. The Caps having less of a chance than the Pens and Isles is certainly a take.

8. As a Kings fan I’m pretty confident that we will make the playoffs. However I’m not so confident that we’ll actually make any noise despite having that expectation. It’ll be interesting to see what we do but I’ve got a feeling the Kings are gonna waste a season where they could’ve made a deep run
