I would take the Pelicans to the EC and put the Sonics in their place in the WC…
how would you guys add 2 new teams?
The fact that a team can just change cities on a whim because a dipshit owner can’t leech off the public funds for a new stadium is beyond fucked up. On a sports team owners staff and players come and go, the only constant are the fans, it’s them who build the culture around the team. The least the NBA can do is give the sonics back to Seattle after they were stolen from them.
Sorry about that rant lol It’s just that as a newer basketball fan from a predominantly football dominated country it’s just insane to me how easily American sports teams move cities.
