  1. This game fucking stunk but credit to the boys, last year we lose this game 9-5 no doubt in my mind. Needed that win BADLY, this could’ve been a season de-railing moment.

  2. Please be okay Trevor 🥺

Crazy take: This team finishes in 2nd place in the division

  3. I pray to the baseball gods that this was the most cursed game we have all season.

  4. Tyler O’Neill may be the greatest player of all time

Really hope Story is ok. Game became so cursed after his injury

  5. From looking like an easy win to epic meltdowns to injuries and errors to booing lustily to still pulling out the win with good usage of the bullpen and Kenley saying “fuck you my stuff is good even without velocity, hit it”… that certainly was a baseball game.

  6. Huge W, needed that. Could have sent this team into a spiral. Just hope the story injury isnt serious.

  7. Positives: 5 Game Win Streak. 5 Bombs today. Save no 423 for Kenly

Negatives: 3 errors🙃. 1st GS given up this season 😔

  8. Weirdest game of the year (sorry Oakland game 2). Hope Story gets better soon.

Last year’s Red Sox don’t win that. Good teams find a way to win and that’s what we did.

  9. If I told you the Sox let up a grand slam and committed 3 errors, you’d be wise to assume it was an L. O’Neill and the boys really toughed this one out.

  10. If TON returns to MVP candidate form and Casas breaks out again we’re in business. Just need Raffy and Yoshida to get out of their hitting woes and then we are solid.

  11. Every team makes mistakes. Good teams, scrappy teams, tough teams pull out these wins. These Sox are a lot tougher than some people gave them credit for.

TON is a dawg, congrats to Jarren, Reese and Triston for their first HR of many this year, and massive, massive well-wishes to Trevor.

  12. That was such a gutsy win, after everything that happened, to still keep fighting back and win shows this team is different. Just pray Story doesn’t miss too much time and we’re in for a fun season

  13. I hope they show Alex’s conference and that there’s any info because I’m already up, why not stay up more???

Why did I even stay up, of course there’s no news from Alex, he’ll have imaging tomorrow afternoon

  14. Glad to come away with a win, my day will be made if I wake up to good news about Story

  15. Biggest loss of the season…

being the team that let Rendon get a hit

  16. Celtics and Red Sox pull out an ass clenching victory from a huge lead tonight, really fucking need a drink after that

  17. So who had 8 games in the “how long does Story stay healthy this year?” pool?

  18. Cora doesn’t sound too concerned about Story, hopefully it’s not too bad 🤞

  19. Anytime someone says “you’ll take the good you’ll take the bad” I cannot not hear the Facts of Life theme song. Thanks Alex

  20. Please stop showing the hyper extension on repeat, this is like the Hayward compound fracture rubbernecking all over again

  21. Really hope Story is okay. Pretty lucky both Valdez and Raffy were able to stay in after their HBPs. Tyler O’niell getting MVP votes this year.
