MLB App for tickets suck, and f*** Seat Geek… solid park tho


Went to the Nat’s stadium (started at 7) after my flight landed about 7:20. Got to the game about 8pm, and the 4th inning was about halfway through.

Went to home base entry, they did not sell tickets so rather than walking to center field to buy some we just bought online. My fiancee bought the first ones she came across (seat geek). Even though they saw proof of purchase they could not let us in because the seller never confirmed the tickets, and they had nothing to scan. So we waited for another 30 minutes on a confirmation (never came).

I just said screw it and bought tickets off the Nat’s site as well and figured it would show me the tickets as soon as I bought. I was in for another 15-20 minute wait. Again after showing proof of purchase on their own site, with the seat area and confirmation I had to download an app. Not awful but the confirmation email never came. Took about 20 minutes for it to confirm. The person in charge had taken my phone and gone through every email to try and find my MLB confirmation email to scan the tickets. Who goes through someone’s email?

We missed 2 additional innings but got in and saw Shohei’s hardest homer yet. Fuck the Nat’s ticket sales though🤣. Seriously after seeing we had bought our tickets why not piss off and let me into the game when you see all the trouble we are having? Its not a sell out? Its halfway through the game who cares?
