I’ve lived quite a few years and I have drunk dialed, drunk texted, drunk posted, drunk bid on eBay… but I’ve never drunk registered a new license plate on the AZ MVD before! Pretty much sums up my feelings, just praying it actually goes through to production so I can commemorate this absolute disaster of team support/management… while still remaining hopeful they come back within five years so it can turn into a more positive message!
I grew up watching Roadrunners hockey in Tempe before we got the ‘Yotes, then got to watch my first professional NHL game when the Coyotes played the Red Wings back in 1990-something’s and the atmosphere was unbelievable… I was a hockey fan for life after that, and I’m in disbelief that we aren’t gonna have an NHL team for at least the next few years. Wish they could have struck the deal in Tempe, or at the site of the old Fiesta Mall, or near Scottsdale, or closer to that stop sign next to the strip mall that shut down over there, or somewhere not in Glendale, or wherever it was rumored after that… just continuing to hope that Alex Meruelo is genuine in his dedication to this fan base/state/sport and we get something done to BRING THE COYOTES HOME!!!!
