I’m aware of the cap space/luxury tax dilemma our team faces, but it seems like signing PG to less than the max is crucial to signing a FA for the MLE & having the freedom to make trades without being capped by the 2nd tax apron. To be able to get any value out of this offseason outside of just retaining the players we already have on our roster, it’s important to not go over that estimated $189.6 million figure. Players like Miles Bridges, Andre Drummond, Patrick Williams, and Isaiah Hartenstein are all players on the market this offseason who could bring value to this current Clippers team that struggles with rebounding and athleticism.

Veteran forward P.J. Tucker isn't expected to leave Los Angeles this summer. Despite being removed from the rotation during the 2023-24 campaign, Tucker is expected to pick up his $11.5 million option for the 2024-25 season to remain with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto which was reported last Saturday.
