We’ve needed a true number 1 goalie for quite a few years now and Ullmark could be that. I would just be worried about term and whether or not that could affect Cossa’s or even Augustine’s timeline

  1. Wouldn’t hate it. Anyone who is worrying about this interfering with Cossa or Augustine needs to calm down goalie prospects rarely pan out

  2. they wouldn’t be trying to sign him, he has a year left on his contract so it’d be a trade.

  3. Ullmark isn’t a free agent, Boston would have to trade him in division to us (not cheap for us) and Ullmark would need to waive his no trade to allow it too

  4. Ullmark would be the most talented goalie we’ve had in a long time now, but I’m not sure how much a starting goalie would matter as long as this team still stinks defensively. We have one defenseman that this team truly trusts in his own zone despite acquiring numerous veterans in recent years and the analytics suggest that this is still not even a decent team at 5 on 5. We have to solve those problems first before a solid goalie would really do a lot for us.

  5. One stolen game would have had us in the POs. Considering the amount of ELC talent we have on deck, it wouldn’t be an awful splurge

  6. Bergren + picks?
Idk whose Boston third goalie is but maybe we send lyon/husso?

  7. I would love to see Detroit trade for him! Ullmark/Lyon combo. He would be the best goalie we have had in over 10+ years! And it so important for the playoffs!

Also would like the hugs from big Cossa in 2 years haha! And hopefully he’d stick around until we maybe can get a Cossa/Augustine combo.

  8. I’d trade my left nut for Ullmark. Not sure if that gets the deal done though

  9. People will freak out screaming about our prospects like tendys don’t hit their prime till late 20’s most often….

  10. Well Lyon sure ain’t the guy for the starting spot and definitely not Reimer

  11. That’s a big old not gonna happen. Not a ufa. Has a ntc. Plays for a division rival.
