how does russia get points nowadays? are their points stagnant at the last point in time when they were still playing internationally?

Why keep russia in? Seems ridiculous when they’re not playing.
But how can this be accurate if Americas best player, Joe Pavelski, didn’t play?
How long has it been since one of the “big six” fell to 7th?
Yo. Hold up. The Philippines has an ice hockey team?! They only have one rink in the entire country in the mall of Asia in Manila.
BOSNIA TOP 50 FUCK YALL RAHHHHHH
I do kind of worry about USA’s senior level performance. We’ve all written them in as at least the 2nd best team, if not the best. But they’ve underperformed *a lot* at the senior level outside of 2010. Now when it’s best on best there will be some significantly different players, but there’s not a lot of winning history. In Juniors they’ve been easily best or 2nd best, so surely it’s not pathological.
How the fuck did Sweden drop 1 when they won that bronze metal game against us?
Can someone explain to me why Latvia is such a great hockey nation while Lithuania and Estonia arent?
I do know Lithuanian basketball is rather good but apart from that what gives?
I call bull
Finally back to a sensible ranking for us! I never understood how Italy was ranked higher despite missing out on promotion 2 years in a row but it is back to normal.
Also how tf do you gain places while being suspended for ongoing conflicts and haven’t played in 2 years…
The ranking methodology is probably made by a corrupt lunatic
I personally don’t think it’s right to punish players for the actions of their countries leaders.
We 35th, boys!*
*(And girls)
North Korea has a hockey team?
Is that North Korea?
How in the fuck is Russia number 2 despite not playing any competitive hockey for close to 2 years ? Or wait , isn’t it like 4-5 at this point ?
Kinda crazy that Poland is sandwiched in between all these European hockey hotbeds yet is dead last in rankings.
