What colorway should Utah go with when it gets it’s branding?

Purple would be unique & look good
Purple/indigo.
Not the first one. It was hated by fans and they (the owners) acknowledged it was a mistake I think

Gotta be purple if they want to play in to the mountains. Altho I think they’re going with the powder blue

I don’t think the colours for the last one were chosen randomly for a season. Both Yeti and Mammoth have winter vibes and this logo is what winter would look like if you were to choose three colours. Plus, I don’t think the team colours will change drastically after 24/25 as Utah will already be associated with these colours. So, the last one.

Indigo combined with the powder blue of the temporary logo would look really sharp in my opinion.

The Jazz really have the worst NBA jersey with their normal set but the best city and throwback jersey… maybe the worst rebrand in sports?

The NHL is the only major North American sports league without a purple team and that is a disgrace.
Powder Blue would be cool.
The trick to having fresh / unique colors is that you also want them to remain timeless. Purple is totally up for grabs.
The fact Anaheim isn’t using their old initial colors still blows my mind.

God I hope it’s purple we need more color diversity in the NHL. I hate our bland jerseys and colors.

Jazz black/gold is by far the worst jersey in sports. No design. No originality. It’s horrible. The hockey team wouldn’t go black/gold due to the Bruins and Pens.
I’m hoping for a primary color of Mountain Indigo, a secondary of Powder Blue, and accents in black, white, and Copper Mine. Those names play to the region and the scheme is super unique to the NHL.

I think it depends on the name. I think it would be weird for them to choose an ice-based name and then choose the color red.
If they’re going with Yeti or Mammoth, I’d go light blue and brown. No team with brown as one of their main colors, plus brown works for both animals and the light blue to work with mountains in the background and as a good contrast color
